Welcome to the Medical Simulation Center for SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital.

Our mission is to foster clinical excellence, promote patient safety, and advance medical education through application of high fidelity medical simulation.

We employ structured case based curriculums for physicians and medical students.

Our sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the academic year. Key concepts spanning the breath of medicine are covered, and trainees learn from errors in a zero fault environment.

Complicated medical decision making and emergent procedures are performed on our high fidelity human patient simulator in a re-created Emergency Department patient bay. Enjoy your visit.
